Butterfly Pavilion

We visited the Butterfly Pavilion this afternoon. So beautiful. I wasn’t sure if Ezra would be interested, but he loved to watch the butterflies flutter overhead and around us. There was also an aquarium area, which had his undivided attention. One of our next outings has to be the aquarium. It’s so easy to underestimate babies’ capacity to observe and interact with their environment intelligently. They’re so stinkin’ smart.

This hot pink butterfly was my favorite, by far.

Lovely day, and we finished it with an impromptu dinner with some new friends. Sometimes I am blown away by how simultaneously difficult and good life can be.

    • Ours is small, but it was really worth it. Sooo pretty. I kept thinking about all the mommies in Life After who have a special place in their hearts for butterflies!
And thanks! I’m glad to get the layout where I feel like writing on it again.
